The region around the villages of Hals and Hou boasts an 8 kilometre-long white sandy beach that is especially child-friendly. From here, it is only a 30 minute drive to the vibrant port city of Aalborg, which boasts a wealth of sites and attractions including the Tivoliland amusement park, the zoo, the Marine Museum, the Casino and Jomfru Ane Gade, a popular street packed with restaurants, bars and night clubs.
